# Email Notifications

> How submission emails are delivered to your inbox.

## How it works

Every time a submission is received, Submito sends an email to the address associated with your account. The email contains all the fields from the submission.

## Delivery

* Emails are delivered reliably and fast
* You should receive the email **within seconds** of a submission
* Check your **spam/junk folder** if you don't see it — add `notifications@mail.submito.dev` to your contacts to prevent this

## Email format

The notification email includes:

* The **endpoint slug** of the form
* All **submitted fields** in a formatted table
* A **link** to view the submission in your dashboard

## Sender address

All notification emails are sent from:

```
notifications@mail.submito.dev
```

Add this to your contacts or whitelist it in your email client to ensure reliable delivery.

## Troubleshooting

> [accordion] I'm not receiving emails
>
> 1. Check your spam/junk folder
> 2. Verify your notification email is correct on your [form page](https://submito.dev/dashboard)
> 3. Make sure your submission returned `{ "ok": true, "submissionId": "..." }` with status `201` — if it returned an error, no email is sent
> 4. Check your usage in the [dashboard](https://submito.dev/dashboard/usage) — you may have hit your quota

> [accordion] Emails are going to spam
>
> Add `notifications@mail.submito.dev` to your contacts. You can also create an inbox filter/rule to always mark emails from this address as important.

> [accordion] Can I change the notification email address?
>
> This feature is coming soon. You will be able to update the notification email directly from your form page.
